Dentdale cradles the beautiful river Dee as it skips through a series of small waterfalls along the floor of the valley. Perhaps one of the most remote Dales, it is dotted with unexpected treasures, including the village of Dent itself. Cobbled streets run between colour-washed stone cottages with low pitched roofs and black edged windows.
Hawes is said to be the highest Market Town in England. Alive with bustle and activity Hawes has a range of shops and craft galleries as well as the award winning Dales Countryside Museum and the Wensleydale Creamery Visitor Centre which is also the birth home of Wallace and Gromit Wensleydale cheese.
