FULL SALOON A/C -COACH & CITY BUS

• Check that control switches and potentiometer are secure.

• Check evaporator fans operate at low and high speeds and fresh air flap opens.

• Check condenser fans and the condenser locker safety switch, if fitted.

• Check all hoses and pipes are secure and are not chaffing.

• Check auxiliary alternator is charging.

• Check high pressure switch operates correctly.

• Check low pressure switch operates correctly.

• Check that the high and low pressure gauge readings are normal.

• Check thermostat operation.

• Check clutch operation.

• Check and grease jockey pulley bearings (change if non-greasable).

• Check drive belts.*

• Tension drive belts to correct tension.

• Grease all jockey pulleys.

• Check filter drier and copper gaskets.

• Check return air filters.

• Check drain hoses are clear .

• Top up with refrigerant (see Note).

 

  leak test. This should entail a low pressure leak test as well as a high pressure leak test.

Any non-scheduled remedial work carried out as a result of the above checks will be notified and charged extra to the standard service cost.

*If new belts are required these will be charged at extra cost.
